Since 2020, we have donated more than 18,000 meals to Victorians in hardship. We've also assisted women and children moving on from family violence by restocking empty pantries & fridges with close to 1000 kitchen restock kits. Our community has been pivotal in creating this social impact - they donate, volunteer, cook, pack, distribute & cheer us on from digital side lines.
Our food relief program is 100% facilitated by community, for our communtiy.
The quickest way to help is to donate - you can check out donations of fresh fruit and vegetables, pantry staples & home-cooked meals. You might do this as part of your own weekly shop, or as a standalone donation.
Each week we team up with inTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence to distribute these donations in the form of kitchen restock kits, connecting their most vulnerable clients with urgent food relief. These women and their families are walking the difficult path to recovery after experiencing family violence. Many are ineligible for social benefits as a result of temporary visa status, some live in temporary accommodation & many are supporting young children.
Our kitchen restock kits are a lifeline for these women and their families, helping to ease the stresses they are facing during this challenging time. Each kit contains many weeks' worth of local produce, pulses, fresh milk & yoghurt, eggs, oil, grains, pasta, chocolate, home cooked meals, our very own baby food and other essentials. In the past six months we have connected 210 women, children & babies with ongoing food relief. This would not have been possible without supporters like you!
Donate now so we can continue to deliver this vital food relief.
